Ladies, we have work to do!

The Great Commission:  “Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”

Jesus was clear.  He did not commission us to return to our old lives as if nothing happened.  He did not commission us to become financially independent and retire on a secluded beach. And He did not commission us to simply go to church on Sundays and sing songs. He called each of us to go into the world and change it by proclaiming the good news of the Kingdom of God, modeling a different vision of community, and inviting others to join it. It is nothing less than a calling to partner with God in establishing a new world order.  That is our mission – we are to be Kingdom-focused in everything we do.
