Theme: Pass the Baton
Every believer is challenged to pass the gospel on to the next generation. We were told to "go and make disciples." A lesson to be learned throughout the Bible is the importance of passing the baton from one generation to another. This is seen (to give a few examples) in Moses passing the baton to Joshua, David to Solomon, Elijah to Elisha, Jesus to His disciples, and Paul to Timothy. It is not enough to run the race. We must also pass our mission (the importance of spreading the gospel) to the next generation. We must hand off the baton at the right time and do it well. Are we leaving a legacy of faith? Is it too late to recover the fumble?
It is all about "Women discipling Women"
Judges 2:10 "...and there arose another generation after them who did not know the Lord,"
Titus 2: 3-5: "...older women are to be ... They are to teach what is good...encourage the young women... ."
