Dr. Shirnett Matthews

My name is Shirnett Matthews.  I have been a born-again Christian since I was 12 years old, and I have done my best to live for God - not always perfect, but each day living to make Him not ashamed.  I have been married for 33 years to Howard Matthews and have three beautiful children, Alexandra, Alysha, and Philip.  We moved to Greenville, SC, from New Jersey in 2009.  Whew! It has been an interesting change of culture for us, but God is so good. We love the Lord, and our entire goal is to do our part to move the Kingdom forward.  We are Kingdom-focused, and all that we do and get involved in is solely for that purpose.

I LOVE serving women and empowering them to be more because we are created for more. I firmly believe that the empowerment of godly women is the key to building the future. Our young women need to grow into strong, powerful forces for God, and we are the key to their future. They need to see that strength in godly women, powerful forces united to tear down satan's strongholds. We must become united, armed, and effective. We are designed for that purpose (Psalm 139:14).
